Why should I work with a fully insured company?

The reason for working with a fully insured company is 'peace of mind". Your renters insurance or homeowners insurance will not cover any liability of the rental if injuries occur. If the insurance company feels that the cause of injury was caused by a damaged unit or poor install by the rental company, you personally will be responsible if the rental company does not have insurance. Why take that risk? All of our rentals are fully insured and our customers are fully covered on every event. Go with the name you can trust.

Why is paying attention to weather details so important?

Wind safety and using common sense!!! Always check your Weather App! If the app states that winds could get to 20+mph for the day, we will cancel the reservation at our own expense with no cost to the customer. Safety comes first for Funtastic Jump Jump. “Under no circumstances should an inflatable be set up when the wind speed is over 20+ mph," Karel Taska, owner of Funtastic Jump Jump tells Special Party Events Blog and Post. "In an inflatable with a covered roof, the air temperature can be warmer inside than it is outside the inflatable," Taska explains. "When a burst of cold air is blown in, you get a 'hot air balloon' effect. This will give an inflatable an instant lift if there is enough temperature difference between the outside and inside air temperatures. These are all things that we take into consideration when we purchase our inflatables as well as when we are setting them up.” SAFER STAKES Five years ago, inflatables stakes were only 9' inches long, but "now we use 12'+-inch stakes," Taska says. It is also all about safety for the kids and making sure you nail the stakes down at a 60 degree angle, which will help prevent the bouncer from lifting. Most installers will nail straight down or not use anything. That is the most dangerous thing you can do. Important Rules to Know about Bounce Houses Did you Know???? Only children age 2 and older should use bounce houses as long as accompanied by an adult. Younger children may not have the balance, coordination or strength to safely enjoy one. An adult must always be present to supervise. At a park or other similar setting, a trained staff member must be present to supervise. The safest way to use a bouncer is to allow only 2-4 child on it at a time. If more than 2-4 child will be using it, make sure they are about the same age and size. Before entering, have children take off their shoes, glasses, and jewelry. Make sure they empty their pockets of any sharp objects, as well. Set rules for safe play. Teach children to not roughhouse, tumble, wrestle or do flips. Have them stay away from the entrance or exit, and the sides or walls of the bouncer. If the bouncer begins to lose air, or if it’s too windy, have all children carefully exit the bouncer. A good indication of when it is too windy (between 15-20 mph) is when winds raise dust and loose paper, or small branches start to move. If this is the case, stop play immediately, and have all children exit the bouncer.

Well, with Funtastic jump jump you do not have to worry about that. We clean our units every time with Simple Green Organic and also disinfect our units after every rental. Then we actually store every unit in bags in a controlled environment, away for the outside sun and moisture. This makes a huge difference in preventing mold and cracked vinyl and explains why our units look so good.
